SERVICE TO THE DEPARTMENT- Prairie State College

• Point person for a grant through Women Employed to assist with the Developmental Education Reform Act (2021-present)

• Created two new math courses (Math 093 and 094) in response to the IL Developmental Education Reform Act, 2021-2022

• Involved in the development of learning communities, computer based instruction, and inquiry based learning within the department funded through the college’s Title III grant, Spring 2006

• Mathematics Department Search Committee Chair, Spring 2005, Spring 2006 and Spring 2007

• Worked with the college administration to create a Math Lab/Classroom for Preservice Teacher courses, May 2004-August 2006

• Served on a four person intradepartmental committee to revise the Elementary Algebra test bank, Fall 2004

• Developed a new math course for the new Paraprofessional Program, 2003-2004

• Developed Linear Algebra course, Spring 2004

• Mathematics faculty tenure committee member for 6 different math faculty members

• Along with one other faculty member, successfully started and maintained the Prairie State College annual “Integration Bee”, April 2003-2011
